Terms of Service
Effective date: October 24, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you (the "Client") and Two Step Sites ("we", "us"), a Texas business. Questions? Email hello@twostepsites.com.
1. Previews
We may build a preview website for your business using publicly available information. A preview is free, creates no obligation, and is hosted at a private link. Unclaimed previews are deleted within 30 days. If you ask us to remove a preview sooner, we will do so within 2 business days.
2. Purchasing a site
When you pay the one-time fee shown on our pricing page (currently $497), we will: finalize the design, make up to two rounds of reasonable changes, replace any content you ask us to replace, and publish the site to a domain you own. Work beyond that scope (extra pages, custom features, copywriting from scratch, e-commerce) is quoted separately in writing before any work starts.
3. Your content and permissions
You confirm you have the right to use any text, photos, logos, and trademarks you provide or approve for the site. Before launch we will replace any content you don't want used. Photos in previews that are AI-generated or stock will be identified to you.
4. Ownership
Once paid in full, you own the final website files and your content. We keep the right to reuse our general code, layouts, and know-how, and to show the site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
5. Domains and third-party services
Domains are registered in your name and you pay the registrar's price. Third-party tools (booking, ordering, maps, hosting) are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
6. Care Plan
The optional Care Plan (currently $39/month) is billed monthly through Stripe and renews until canceled. You may cancel anytime by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Included: hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, and up to 30 minutes of edits per month (unused time does not roll over).
7. Google Business Profile add-on
For the GBP add-on ($149), you grant us manager access to your profile. We will not change ownership, and you can remove our access anytime. We cannot guarantee rankings, reviews, or Google's approval of edits.
8. No guarantees
We work hard to build fast, effective sites, but we do not guarantee specific traffic, rankings, leads, or revenue. Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
